I was watching the commemorative service
of Market Garden.
At home this year, not at the Ginkel Heath.
Then a slight rumble..
one which always makes me go to the door.
As I can't hold the cameras here,
I took my phone.
I was able to catch 6 of the 9 planes.
I know, bad photos.
The planes look so far away,
but they were very near.

Of course I waved at each of them...
like the people did in 1944,
as I was told when I was a little girl.

When I came back in the room,

bofore the last post sounded...
